At Aerolift we are always looking to improve safety<\/a> and efficiency at the customers work environment. Our latest vacuum lifter is provided with a safe release system and overload protection system for each suction pad. Both systems are nothing new, but this time we equipped each suction pad with its own safe release and overload protection system. The combination brings several benefits to improve safety.<\/p>\n

Safe release system on each suction pad<\/strong><\/h2>\n

All Aerolift vacuum lifters feature a two-action control to discharge. For discharging the operator needs to push two buttons at the same time. This feature avoids accidental discharge. To completely rule out human mistakes we engineered a safe release system. The system disables the release buttons during lifting. Only when the load is lowered to the ground or put on a solid support, releasing is possible. The new safe release system is installed on each suction pad.<\/p>\n

Overload protection system on each suction pad<\/strong><\/h2>\n

But the new safety feature includes also an overload protection system for each suction pad. The overload protection system detects overload for each suction pad. If the lifting capacity is exceeded, a red light on top of the suction pads warns the operator. Is only one suction pad overloaded, only the red lamp of the corresponding suction pad lights up. Warning the operator for the unsafe lifting situation. This avoids lifting when the load is unequally balanced.<\/p>\n

Easily applied to existing vacuum lifters<\/h2>\n

Another advantage of this new safety innovation: The system is installed on the suction pads, which makes it easier to apply on existing vacuum lifters.
