PRESS RELEASE Barneveld, the Netherlands, 16 June 2026 – Niconlift B.V. is established as a sister company to Aerolift Industrials B.V. (Aerolift) and Machinefabriek H. Zwienenberg B.V. (MHZ). The new company develops crane systems that enable exceptional transport companies to load, unload and move heavy objects directly from the trailer. This reduces reliance on external cranes and creates greater flexibility in the logistics process.
The expertise of Nico de Jong, who has been active in the world of container sideloader systems for over 30 years, forms the basis for Niconlift. Since 2007, his company Beltruck B.V. has developed, manufactured and supplied a limited number of sideloaders worldwide under the Niconlift brand name.
By combining these years of practical experience with Aerolift’s engineering expertise in lifting and hoisting solutions up to 200 tons for sectors such as precast concrete, metal, paper and wind energy, and MHZ’s production capacity, a strong foundation has been established for the further development of the Niconlift product line.
Niconlift focuses on innovative crane systems for specialised transport companies. The portfolio consists of two systems:
Niconlift crane systems are suitable for a wide range of applications. Heavy loads such as padmount transformers, cable reels and other industrial objects can be positioned at ground level, on trailers, SPMTs and raised platforms. Specific applications such as basement placement, stacking and working in limited spaces are also possible.
The production of Niconlift crane systems takes place entirely at the MHZ machine factory. All necessary disciplines are present within MHZ, including machining, structural work, hydraulics, electrotechnics and assembly. This allows engineering, production and further development to be carried out within a single organisation.
With the establishment of Niconlift, Aerolift and MHZ are taking the next step in further expanding their activities into the market for exceptional transport. The combination of practical experience, engineering and production is intended to contribute to innovative solutions for transporters who are looking to move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
