The customer needed a vacuum lifter as soon as possible. Normally the delivery time of a vacuum lifter is 6 till 16 weeks. Way to long in this case… Still we came up with a fitting solution!
In order to help out the customer we sacrificed one of our rental devices. The vacuum lifter was redesigned and adjusted to the requirements of the customer.
Our new agent in Israel, David Hazan, approached us for a rush order. The customer needed a vacuum lifter to handle concrete slabs up to 5.300 kg and needed the device as soon as possible!
Normally we have a delivery time of 6 till 16 weeks. Way too long in this case… Still we came up with a fitting solution!
To help out the customer on such short notice we sacrificed one of our rental devices. Basically the properties of the rental device where very similar to what the customer needed. Still there were also some essential differences. For example: The rental device had a lifting capacity of only 4.000 kg. Our engineering department redesigned the rental device, so the vacuum lifter would fit perfectly to the needs of the customer. The modifications are made by our production company.
Today the modified rental device will be shipped by airplane to Tel Aviv, Israel. Where the device is used in a new production line of 126 meter, which produces concrete segments. The vacuum lifter demoulds the segments to place them in storage.
The two pictures below show the before / after picture. At the first picture (before) you see the vacuum lifter before the adjustments and on the second picture (after) you see the vacuum lifter which is shipped to the customer.
