Last week we commissioned two Aerolift vacuum lifters at our customer STEC / Larsen&Toubro JV in India. The vacuum lifters will be used in a production factory to demould and turn (180°) tunnel segments and keystones for the Mumbai Metro. Due to the lifter’s design, the suction pad is able to turn endlessly.
These vacuum lifters are just a small part of our handling solutions for the tunnelling industry. We also have complete solutions for transport handling and for inside the tunnel boring machine (TBM).
