This vacuum lifter not only complies to the European standards and regulations, but also to the standards and regulations of the USA (EN & ASME). For example, in the design we needed to use a safety factor of 3 on the construction (in Europe it is 2) and the vacuum lifter required a double vacuum system.
The double vacuum system means we designed 2 vacuum lifters in 1 vacuum lifter. The vacuum tank is divided in two compartments. Both compartments are connected to half of the suction pads equally divided. Should one vacuum system fail, the product will stay securely attached. Read more about safe lifting by vacuum.
The vacuum lifter is engineered with a lifting capacity up to 36 tons. To demould and lift, precast concrete panels with a wide variety of length, width and thickness.
