Handling prefabricated wind turbine blades

Demoulding and lifting prefabricated wind turbine blades. This unique Aerolift vacuum lifter is specially designed to match the shape of the prefabricated blade. The shape is quite special and offered us a challenge. To meet the required curves the two suction pads are both specially designed for one specific place on the product. The half-circle is almost 1.5 meters high, so the suction pads needed to be relatively far from the frame. Without any kind of damage, the blade is now easily demoulded, lifted, and moved.
